When I think of Fusion I think of a blend; a good blend where every ingredient adds to the balance and harmony of the whole. One New York based group has brought the balance together to form the real FUSION. 

A member of the group, the multi-talented Dee-Morris (singer/songwriter with FUSION) sat with Strive to talk about real striving: his past being homeless, down and out yet never stopping. In this interview DeeMo gives us practical ways to make money while developing an artistic career. 

A little info about the group: FUSION is set to make their lasting mark on the soul singing world showcasing their stylish expressions throughout the music industry. Based in New York City, this group of soul singers consists of four talented guys of different ethnic backgrounds from all over the world. Two of many credits include performances live on the FUSE NETWORK, as well as on the red carpet at the BILLBOARD AWARDS........

DEE-MORRIS, an African-American singer/songwriter/musician originally from the Washington DC area, currently resides in Jamaica, Queens. As a full-time actor and model, Dee-Morris (aka "DeeMo") has been in countless televison shows, films, commercials and magazines. After co-hosting the VH1 awards and headlining the "American Pride East Coast Regional Tour", MTV came calling for another special television spot for him. Soon thereafter, Dee-Morris went on to compete and win the first ever MTV Spring Break "Fear Factor". Musically, DeeMo has been inspired by the likes of Donnie Hathaway, Boyz II Men and Brian McKnight, leading him to sing in many state, county and gospel choirs while growing up. He has a passion for performing regardless of the stage and as a determined young individual, he has a relentless vision of success that he contributes to FUSION.................

  Continuing to hone their skills with internationally known vocal teacher Craig Derry, FUSION displays an enormous amount of potential as they prepare to embark on the music industry. The well-balanced cultural blend of FUSION enables them to appeal to the domestic market as well as the international market which they anticipate will catapult them into the industry forefront.
